ITALY TRIP
We know you are all waiting to visit Italy again like every year with us. We have been to Italy so many times and we know what you are interested in seeing, eating and buying. So you are again in good hands with us and we will take care of you the whole trip!
Como
Our first Stop Como is a city and commune in Lombardy, Italy. Como sits where thesouthern and western shores converge. Its proximity to Lake Como and to theAlps has made Como a tourist destination and the city contains numerous worksof art, churches, gardens, museums, theatres, parks and palaces.
Milano
From Como we will go to Milano by train on the first day. The train rideis very nice and comfortable, and costs only 4,80 €. Whether you’re into fashion or history, there’s somethingfor everyone in Milano. Despitehow Milan is portrayed on the world’s stage, the city is anything but flashy. Many of its most interesting sights and attractions are not readily apparent, so you’ll need to dig a littledeeper to discover the gems that really make the city unique. Luckily, Milan issurprisingly walkable and at times feels more like a compact town than a majorEuropean metropolis. And once you start chipping away at its forebodingexterior, you’ll find untold treasures below the surface: priceless works ofart, eccentricbeautiful buildings, world-class restaurants and oases ofcalm.
Florence & Pisa
On our second day our first stop will be Florence which is as rich in history as it is inculture. Here will have aguided tour and will take you to Piazzale Michelangelo, the perfect place to catch a panoramicview of the city Florence from the above. Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence isan outdoor terrace, located across the Arno River. It was named after Florence's favorite son, legendary artist MichelangeloBuonarotti. After we have seen enough from Florence, we will head to Pisa withour bus.
The reality is that apart from the tower, there is very little to see in Pisa(compared to nearby Florence) and the main tourist area can be trodden on footin under an hour. However, don’t let that confuse you into thinking thatthere’s nothing to see or do in Pisa – there really is. And, without the coachloads that hit Florence, spending a day here eating, drinking espresso andwandering the streets will help you acclimatise to the Italian way of life.Leaning Tower of Pisa is one of Italy’s most iconic symbols. TheLeaning Tower of Pisa took 344 years to build, beginning in August 1173.Thetower started to lean during construction because the foundation was built onsoft ground that had difficulty supporting the weight.
Venice
After the check out we will reach Venice and take a time and imagine a city of 118 islands threaded by 180 canals, these watery roads lined by Gothic-filigree palazzi, spanned by409 lithe footbridges, and plied by fleets of crooked-nose, coffin-black gondolas. Now, picture a tangle of ancient alleys, the houses often no more than shoulder-width apart, connecting countless pocket-sized squares, each anchored by a church filled with Titans or a museum stuffed with Renaissance or modern art.
Venice island is divided in about 8 neighbourhoods, but the best thing of Venice is to get lost and enjoy the adventure. Just be aware or set yourself an alarm on your phone to remind you that it is time to head to our meeting point, as from our experience we know that this adventure can make you lose the track of time.
